Touring the grounds

We ask that anyone interested in touring the venue grounds please reach out to us first before coming to the venue. We try to keep our venue “show-ready” but due to events and staff schedules we ask that you please reach out to us so we can get that set up. Email us and we would be more than happy to get that scheduled.

FAQs

How many people does your venue hold?

 300 is our maximum capacity. Any more than that becomes crowded for both parking and space inside the venue.

Is your venue handicap accessible?

Yes, it is. Although the ceremony site has concrete steps, the overall landscape isn’t too steep of a hill to restrict mobility. The venue grounds are a one-level facility, except the staircase leading to the bridal

Are there any prohibited items that we can’t use for decoration?

Due to its messy nature, we don’t allow glitter or pampas grass in either barn on the venue property. Candles are allowed as long as its not open flame. For example, if you want candles on your tables for centerpieces during the reception, then they must have a glass casing.

Are you food truck friendly?

Absolutely! Should you choose to incorporate food trucks as a catering option, you are more than welcome to do that as long as the trucks are completely self-sufficient.


Do you offer any in-house vendor options?

No, we do not have any in-house options, but should you need help finding vendors, we can refer you to certain businesses that we are acquainted with.

Is it an up-charge to have an extra day for the rehearsal?

No, it is not. We calculate our pricing based off of 2-day leases. Some venues up-charge for extra days but we believe that plenty of time for planning and decorating the day before should be standard.

Do you have a rain plan?

Yes, we do. For our couples who planned on getting married outside, we have our big barn (where the reception also is) as a back up plan incase weather permits. We’ve seen it be done multiple different ways and it’s always nice to have if weather becomes a problem.

* Any desire to book a small event on a Friday or Saturday will have to meet the approval of the Meadow Mint family and will come at a higher premium due to weekends being reserved primarily for weddings. Most weddings are at least 6 months out from booking. Therefore any weekend small events must be planned within several months

** Small events will be limited during the wedding peak season of March to December.
